Black Sticks have a good chance at bronze

New Zealand is still in the race for a medal in the women’s hockey at the London Olympics, with the Black Sticks squaring off against Great Britain for bronze tomorrow morning.
Former hockey Olympian Mandy Barker says it has been amazing campaign for the team.
“I think it’s been absolutely incredible,” she says. “Their skill, their speed, they’ve made the game exciting, and they’re playing really good hockey.”
Barker says their successes have been inspiring for kiwis watching back home.
“These girls have played beyond their expectations and I think it’s captured a lot of people back here in New Zealand who wouldn’t normally watch hockey.”
It will be a tough match playing against a home team tomorrow, but Barker says the girls have the ability to pull it off.
