The BlackCaps are locked in a tight scrap with India on day four of the second Test in Bangalore after the Kiwis set the home side 261 to win.

The BlackCaps were dismissed for 248, with James Franklin’s 41 their best, while spinner Ravi Ashwin was again the pick of the Indian attack with five wickets.

The hosts started their second innings strongly, before the BlackCaps made two crucial breakthroughs.
