As expected the Blackcaps have whitewashed Zimbabwe at the ODI series with a crushing 202-run win in Napier tonight.

It was another New Zealand batting benefit for the top order.

Zimbabwe's fielding woes travelled down country with them.

Rob Nicol's life on ten, setting the tone for another Blackcaps onslaught.

Martin Guptill cruised past 50; his fifth consecutive one day half century coming off just 38 balls.

And Nicol wasn't far behind before missing a straight one on 61 to end an 153 run opening stand.

Next ball Guptill went for 85.

Jake Oram was elevated to pinch hit again scoring a quick fire 25.

But this was fast becoming the Brendon McCullum show.

Brother Nathan chimed in with a powerful 21 off 7 balls but younger brother Brendon was eyeing a ton.

McCullum's 119 off 88 balls included five of the Blackcaps 16 sixes en route to an imposing 373 for 8.

Zimbabwe had a large task ahead of them and things started in disastrous fashion.

Tino Mawayo run out by Tom Latham for 9 before Doug Bracewell's probing line caught Stuart Matsikenyeri on the crease.

Captain Brendan Taylor showed some fight for the tourists but at the other end the rot had set in.

Like in Whangarei, Zimbabwe were never in the chase and with Taylor’s demise for 65 it was effectively game over.

Tarin Nethula and Michael Bates both took their first ODI wickets as New Zealand cleaned up the tail. Zimbabwe skittled for 171 as the Blackcaps strolled to a 3-nil series whitewash.
