Moko is just amazing. Yea he can be a bit rough and people need to be aware of that but he doesn't mean any harm he just wants to play. Dolphins usually live in social groups so he must be very lonley and really enjoys peoples company I would have to ask why really when you here of people trying to put cigarette butts and sand down his blow hole. I think everyone who enjoys his company needs to make sure that they and their kids know what not to do to him or around him and if you see any idiots doing something stupid, say something. Then maybe we will be lucky enough to have him around for a long time to come

Everyone should get there facts straight. I have no respect for the news anymore as no one has actually talked to this alleged person who "beat" moko. She didn't touch Moko, only slapped the water to try to scare him off as she was responsible for 6 children on the water and he didn't let them in for about an hour. She was more upset at the people onshore who were not lifting a finger to help get them all in. She was "irate" at the people onshore not at Moko as she well understood what Moko was doing. Moko broke the paddle coming up along the hull of the waka while she was trying to get away and hit the paddle with his nose, that is what broke it. What wasn't mentioned was that he was trying to tip the kids out of their boat at sea and tried to jump on the front of the smaller waka the lady was on and tip her too. He had already broke the waka thrashing against it. So EVERYONE get their facts straight including the media

I spent a fearless and beautiful time with my son and friends in the water with Moko today and find it hard to believe people could think to harm him. He is as experts say learning his own strength, I saw young girls doing their typical thing and screaming when they felt him going under them but they were in no harm at all. It was great to see so many people come to see him with their children but what an experience you could have given your chilldren if you had of let them get in with him and not allowed the write up's to put fear into you which you relayed to your children from getting into the water. Moko you rock hope this is where you stay for a while.

The human brain will lash out when it runs out of ideas and clearly the idiot in the waka has a small undeveloped brain that lashes out early .The violent humans in society have just not evolved enough yet. They can't think their way through things and will always throw the first punch.

People need to respect Moko in his natural environment and realise his is a strong animal. The person who hit Moko should be prosecuted for cruelty to animals like anyone would if they hit a dog or cat. Obviously who ever did this is not clued up on natural wildlife.

gillian, grow up. Campbell is on holiday, like everyone else has been, and if you watch television instead of moan you will realise he is returning shortly, most likely next week.
