Jon Bon Jovi has laughed off reports that he has died.
A representative for the ‘Livin’ on a Prayer’ singer said that the rocker is alive and well.
Jon was preparing to perform at a charity event when news spread like wildfire that he had passed away.
And to prove the fact that the Bon Jovi frontman was in good health, he posted a picture of himself on Twitter with a Christmas tree in the background and holding a note.
“Heaven looks a lot like New Jersey. Dec 19th 2011 6.00,” the sign read along with the message, “Rest assured that Jon is alive and well! This photo was just taken.”
The 49-year-old rock star is the latest celebrity to fall victim to a death hoax. It was claimed that Jon had been found unconscious in a room at the Empress Hotel in Asbury Park, New Jersey and was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
But thankfully the singer will be celebrating the holidays with his family.
