Boobs on Bikes is a hardy perennial – no matter the ups and downs of Steve Crow’s empire it turns up on Queen Street every year, like a rude tulip.
Steve Crow’s parade has hit controversy again this year with a billboard featuring a naked woman for Crow’s Erotica Lifestyles Expo – that the parade promotes – being ruled as unacceptable by the Advertising Standards Authority.

12:15pm – Steve Crow and biker crowd gathering. Some guys on the street keen to get an early look.
12:21pm – The contingent is gathering under a walkway advertising Barker and Pollock dress fabrics. Not much fabric used here!
12:26pm – Miss Ribena: “Come on girls, get your tits out!” Oh wait, we have naked women on cars, boats and bikes!
12:32pm – Engines starting up – Steve Crow leading. Not much of a crowd though.
12:45pm -We have our hands on a couple of the $20 porn vouchers Crow was reported to be giving away. Redeemable at the Erotica Expo. DON"T THROW AWAY - it states. That would be foolish indeed.
1:00pm - And the parade is all over - Crow's convoy sped through Auckland due to a lack of crowds. Has the Boobs On Bikes parade become socially unacceptable?
