Former South African wicket keeper Mark Boucher has revealed the extent of his eye injury that brought a premature end to his career.

Boucher was struck in the eye by a "bail", during the Proteas first match of their English tour and has ruled out a return to any form of cricket.

Boucher, who has 999 international dismissals, has been closely following South Africa’s tour of England, with the final test at lords starting next Thursday.
