Rapper Bow Wow has attracted further controversy following his snubbing of a Maori powhiri at Auckland International Airport on Monday evening.
The Like Mike star, seemingly aggrieved by a tweet sent out by 3 News reporter Jenny Suo on the cultural faux pas, has taken to his Facebook page and launched an expletive-ridden tirade against Suo.
"I hate when a mafuka [sic] try to speak on shit when they wasn't there. Screw that reporter for running her mouth,” he wrote.

After arriving in New Zealand – his first visit to the country – on Monday evening ahead of his concert at Auckland’s Studio bar on Wednesday evening, Bow Wow was so busy talking to his entourage he completely missed the powhiri group who had gathered to give him a special welcome and walked straight into a local Vodafone store to buy a new cellphone.
"How about the great interviews i gave new zealand press outlets here today at my in store because they were more professional than the bullshit reporter stalking me in the airport with her microphone all in my face after a 4 hr flight. You think ima stop for you? i already dont like "Some" Media Outlets and this why i dont do interviews," he continued.
Claims he was in a rush to buy a cellphone to contact his mother and child fly in the face of statements made by the powhiri group.
"He was like 'oh I don't want to f-ing do this, I don’t want any part in this at all, I just got off a flight, I just want to get out of here'," says group member Aaron Henare.
But the 25-year-old claims he could care less.
"As long as "My Fans" the ones who bought them tix to my show, the ones who sells out my concerts, i came for them. Long as they smiling thats all i care about. So save the bullshit."
Bow Wow has a reported net worth of US$15 million.
