Bratt Pitt and Angelina Jolie are planning a wedding, according to reports.
The move comes after son Maddox “begged” his parents to tie the knot, a source claims.
The couple share six children; Maddox, 8,Pax, 6, Zahara, 5,
Shiloh, 3, and 21-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
Pitt, 46, and Jolie, 34, are reportedly determined to shield
their nuptials from the public, opting for a low-key affair in order to
avoid accusations of wasting money.
The couple pride themselves of being humble and not wasting
money, a friend of the couple told OK!
Magazine.
“Some over-the-top, beachfront affair with hundreds of guests isn’t going to happen.”
Pitt and Jolie have been together since filming Mr
and Mrs Smith together in 2005. Pitt was married to Jennifer
Aniston at the time and the source claims Pitt and Jolie only agreed to
get married when their older children asked them to make their union
official.
“Lately, Shiloh and Zahara have been chiming in and Pax thinks
it would just be the coolest thing ever to be a ring bearer,” the
source told OK!
Jolie has previously admitted she and Pitt are expecting their
children to question why they had never married.
“Usually people fall in love and everything revolves around
the ritual of marriage – children are an afterthought,” she
said.
“We did everything backwards.
“But sooner or later it will be the kids who ask us to get
married. You know, they see films and start asking questions. Such as,
‘Why are Shrek and his love Fiona married and you’re not?’”
