Former National Party leader Don Brash is the star guest at the Act Party's annual conference in Wellington this weekend.

Dr Brash was once famously referred to by Act's Rodney Hide as being 'like an extra member of the Act caucus'.

But Dr Brash says he's at the conference to tell Act about progress on the 2025 Taskforce - which has been set up to close the wage gap with Australia, but he's not changing sides.

Dr Brash says he has no plans to return to politics.

Oh come on TV3... this is just being cheeky. If I remember correctly, Tariana Turia was at the last ACT conference.

ACT invites all sorts of people to speak at these conferences, this is just you guys being a little naughty!
