A Colorado judge has granted Charlie Sheen's ex-wife Brooke Mueller permission to return to Los Angeles following her weekend arrest in Aspen, Colorado.
Embattled Mueller, who has twin boys with the actor, was taken into custody on Friday on suspicion of third degree assault and cocaine possession following a scuffle at a nightclub.
The 34 year old, who has previously spent time in rehab for addiction issues, was released from Pitkin County Jail on Saturday after posting a US$11,000 bond.
Her lawyers filed a request with a Pitkin County judge to allow Mueller to head home to California with her sons. She landed in Los Angeles on Monday .
She has been ordered to return to the winter holiday resort on 19 December for a court hearing.
