LBG - there is nothing commendable here - Robin Brooke only "manned up" because he found himself in the middle of the shit storm that he created and that he couldn't escape.

Wow,he apologised, and it only took him a month, what a man.I presume his name will now be on the sex register and that now he has admitted his offending on the 15 year old girl and the 17 year old boy, that the Fiji police will not procrastinate any longer and charge him with assault forthwith, YEAH RIGHT.One set of rules for all black gropers, millionaire drug users ,entertainer sex offenders, policeman rapists, and Dr child porn down loaders, catholic priest kiddy fiddlers etc etc,and the other set of rules for the rest of us.He would have been better off being charged straight away,as he would have got name suppression.Equal justice for all,YEAH RIGHT.

I am sure if it had been Robin Brookes own daughter that had been groped, or his own son that had been assaulted, Mr Brooke would not find it acceptable and would 'sort them out'. It's commendable he has manned up to the mistake, hopefully 'joe average' could follow his example if they find themselves in the same pickle instead of laughing it off as 'just being one of the lads'

Lightseed, play the video again, he clearly states :I met the girl at HER REQUEST". He was told to go and told to say sorry.

no trish, read the article, it says that he agreed to certain requests that she requested to be able to put the incident behind her. It does not say he met her at her request.

He said sorry on media and tv I think now is the time to let it go.

Note it says that he met the girl "at her request", don;t think he had any intention of apologising otherwise. Would have been nice if he had apologised without being told to! How sorry is he, really!!!!
