In America, if you are openly homosexual you cannot sign up and become a member of the armed forces – you won’t be accepted.

However, it is a different story here in New Zealand.

Rod Vaughan investigates the increasing numbers of soldiers, sailors and air force personnel who are coming out and are proud to be gay.
