Campbell Live has been inundated with people wanting us to do stories on the EQC - by default the media seems to have become the last court of appeal.

The Office of the Ombudsmen has dealt with more than 300 complaint inquiries since the first Canterbury earthquake back in 2010, and currently has more than 50 cases pending.

Until now, there has been no appeal or review system for the findings of EQC.

Campbell Live spoke to Earthquake Recovery Minister Gerry Brownlee.

Watch the video for the full interview.

Look all john Cambell did is joke with his mate Jerry? count the time that was spent on the EQC, and count the time spent on laughing about "finland?"
You to get serious ok - theres is major corruption down here, and there is a game show host puppet-mayor treating everyone like contestants! Flectures are getting handed millions and millions of dollars by default, and it so happens they were down in profits. The inspectors have no qualifications, (are they are locals!!)and have been dictating peoples life savings at the stroke of a pen, with thier mates getting first priority.
So you get.. some fall-guy nobodys ever heard of, to say oh the eqcs made mistakes?

Look you either get some balls, and start exposing who's getting these contracts, why and how much is being pushed through by who.. or youl miss the scandle of decades, and in 20 years it will be a Crime special on a sky Tv Channel.

Brilliant! I start to like Mr. Brownlee. Mr. Campbell and Mr. Brownlee were talking some Finnish. Campbell:"Hyvää iltaa!" Mr. Brownlee: "Kiitos, kiitos. Hyvää iltaa (to you as well)!" And nice way to say: "I carry little bit Finland with me!" (Nokia cellular phone.) At the moment I find Tuomas Enbuske (Finnish talk show host) moron, because he was offending all New Zealanders on his tv show eventhough the target was suppose to be Mr. Brownlee not all New Zealanders. We Finns have lot of common with New Zealanders: - big neighbors (Russia/Australia) - once part of large empires (Sweden&Russia Empires/British Empire) - one of the first countries of women's suffrage - indigenous people (Samis / Maoris) - rugby (yes, we have rugby teams and National league in Finland, although Finland is ranked 94th out of 97 countries in IRB ranking list and New Zealand 1st one)
