Annie, do you know what Lana is talking about??????Everybody knows what the bus lane is for !!! This one is in the wrong place making it inpossible and dagerous for the car drivers to turn ! Lana has been using this route for years and then the sudden chance ! People like you and the person at the council who made THIS change make me sick !
I have received 6 buslane fines.I received my first fine after Ihad commited the 6 offence. I don't mind paying the fine but having travelled the same route (using buslane)for several years and not realising that I was committing an offence came as a shock to me.I have tried negotiating with council , asking if I could pay half. No luck. I still think the buslane is in the wrong place causing frustration and at times endangering others. I am currently paying a $1200.00 buslane fine which I acquired over 6 consequetive days.
Focusing on the fines misses the point. If people didnt go in the bus lanes they wouldnt get a find. The point behind bus lanes is not to make money but to create advantage for buses... thereby enabling considerably more people to get from a to b. Unbalanced article by and large..
