Bus strike causes Wellingtonians to hit the pavements

Wellington is in commuter chaos this morning. The bus company, GO Wellington, has stopped drivers from working today by locking them out.

This is after the drivers went on strike for an hour yesterday as their wage dispute heats up.

The council wants people to car pool to cope, but will that be enough?

Greater Wellington’s transport and access councillor, Peter Glensor spoke to Sunrise.
