There may be some disruptions to commuters in Wellington today

Some Wellington commuters could find it tough getting around today with half the number of buses on the road.

NZ Bus and the Tramways Union are meeting to discuss upcoming pay and employment negotiations.

Their current agreement will expire in early December.

The meeting will be held in off-peak hours to minimise disruptions to passengers, but between 10am and 1pm some Valley Flyer bus services will be decreased.

The airport and school bus services will be unaffected by the meeting.
