Cadbury are no longer a lovely old British company - last month, they were bought by the American food giant Kraft.
The price - US$19.6 billion.
Kraft are now looking to save money, so they are closing one of Britain's historic Cadbury factories, earning the word "despicable" in a BBC News headline and the anger of the British government.
Not that kraft will be unduly concerned. Business is business, for a company until recently controlled by the tobacco giant Philip Morris.
Meanwhile in New Zealand, Cadbury are staging a retreat. Wine gums, Moros, Crunchies, party packs, Minties - they were all made here, but not any more. And Cadbury chocolate blocks like Dairy Milk were made in New Zealand too – but not any more.
All of them, gone.
But Creme Eggs - they're still made in Dunedin, right?
Not any more.
