Cadbury is pushing ahead with plans to open a chain of branded cafes across Britain after receiving the green light from new US parent Kraft.
Cadbury said Friday that planning for the outlets offering afternoon tea and an onsite chocolatier service is still in the "very early days".
Cadbury signed a 20-year license deal in January with a group of retail entrepreneurs to lead the venture.
Kraft, which completed its controversial £11.5 billion takeover of the company in February, has given the project the go-ahead, but is not providing financial backing.
