British fans certainly weren't smiling after the men's road race. They thought Mark Cavendish would win gold, but he finished 29th.

So instead they're congratulating themselves on the opening ceremony and calling for its creator, movie director Danny Boyle, to be knighted.

This was the worst olympic ceremony EVER, it was full of Illumnati symbolism, not to mention dark and depressing, the only good thing about it was Mr Bean and i don't even like him normally! not to mention the UFO that was sighted during the fireworks... Don't know why he is being praised WHATSOEVER!!!!!!!!!
