“Boycott the Adidas jersey and recycle your old one,” is what Josh Cronfeld and others have suggested today in response to adidas' stance on jersey prices.

Rebel Sport has dropped the price but Adidas refuses to budge or front for that matter, and some say the crowds will turn on the company that's championed the All Blacks for years.

In a sign of protest an All Black faithful returned his adidas jersey today, telling reporter Mihingarangi Forbes he's coming off the bench, there's no I in team and going up the guts in the name of rugby.

A sad state when Adidas has to take branding off company vehicles due to abuse from the public on innocent individuals. There in nothing wrong with robust debate, however we are starting to sink to new lows as a society. Is there much difference between this and the events transpiring in London? Get a grip, and stop the embarrassing behaviour - remember, the world is watching us.

@Mike first off it's not just a "bloomin' rugby jersey" and it ain't ugly. It's part of AB history NZ history for that matter. You know why u dont see the english complaining about their prices? coz noone wants to buy their jersey! Wear "any old black jumper or old AB's jersey"?. I wanna wear the one that they're gona win the WC in! and why would I want to wait next year to buy it even IF it does get cheaper, the RWC is next month! Adidas is ripping off the fans and it aint right.

Campbell Live would probably be interested in my story about adidas. Just briefly, it spans 2 decades. I own a small established sports store which is a part of a recognised buying group. Although I have an account with adidas (and that's another story), they will not allow us to purchase All Blacks Apparel! This has been a constant embarrasment for us as our customers expect us to be able to supply this product.
This Jersey debacle is typicle of their arrogance. It is NOT just a "one off". As a retailer I will not support or recommend ANY of their product.
Adidumdas you've blown it by showing your true colours.

GOOD JOB!!!

The Adidas apology is NOT accepted.Saying sorry doesn't and leaving the price sky high doesn't cut the mustard.
Let's all proceed with a worldwide boycott.

Poor old AB fans. Have you stopped and asked yourself how much loyalty adidas pays the AB's for this instead of slating adidas doing business, emotions aside.

Apparently it isn't enough that the All Blacks are the most successful profession team in any sport and is awesome advertising for Adidas around the world, but they have to try to get into the pockets of fans as well. This isn't what New Zealand and the All Blacks are about. Not buying adidas anymore
