Now in its ninth year, Gisborne's annual Rhythm and Vines music festival attracts an eclectic mix of some of the world's top talent.
Despite some soggy conditions, a sold-out crowd of more than 25,000 went along to the second night of the three-day event with international headliner, Scottish producer and DJ Calvin Harris.
The night's other stars were Australian electronic act Cut Copy.
