Maybe they need to give some choices such as if the Mum allows the child to have necessary radiotherapy they will also conteract the effects with a vitamin C drip which has helped many people or something to that effect - if they can word it so the Mother sees it as a good thing and add something helpful to the treatment she may agree.

Poor little fellow. A brain tumour is bad enough. Having an idiotic mother threatening your survival compounds the problem.Just as well he will not be aware of that.
