I am from NZ but live in Dubai. The police here never chase. Depending on how bad you are driving you get a fine sent out or the car is ceased at their own leasers, No chasing.Fines must be paid in full to reregister your car along with your compulsory full cover insurance for everyone.Having said all that they still drive like idiots over here.
