England football coach Fabio Capello has back-tracked on comments about not selecting David Beckham for England in the future.
Talking about England team selection Capello said overnight at a media conference that the ‘door is open for all players, always.’
Three weeks ago Capello said that he would only select younger players for England and that 35-year-old Beckham was too old for the England team.
Beckham missed out on playing for England at his years Football World Cup due to injury.
He is England’s most capped player with 115 appearances.
England play a Bulgaria on Saturday in a Euro 2012 qualifier.
