A woman who was found dead in a car in a rural Taranaki waterway this morning may have been there for three days.
The car was found this morning in a river or stream west of Eltham, off the Eltham-Kaponga road, which runs south of Mt Taranaki, this morning.
It is understood that the woman had been missing for three days
Police would only say they were dealing with a "very serious single vehicle crash".
