A woman has been taken to Auckland hospital after the people mover she was driving ploughed into a dairy.

The vehicle went into the front of the shop on Raymond Street in the Auckland suburb of Point Chevalier just after eight o'clock this evening.

Fire crews had to work for some time to cut her from the wreckage.

At the same time they also had to stabilise the front of the dairy which was threatening to cave in.

The driver was the only one inside the car and has been taken to hospital in a serious condition.

This is the IPCA fault. Everytime, the PICA critisized the police for pursuing, they encouraged more idiots to flee from police.

@kiwi. Its good to see kiwi humour alive and well. I hope the young lady is okay and the dairy owner survives the losses. It would be a horrific time Im sure.
