Carl Hayman is set to rejoin the All Blacks next year after ‘agreeing in principal’ to return according to the British newspaper the Daily Express.

Prop Hayman who has a £350,000 contract with English club Falcons which he captains is believed to have met with All Blacks coach Graham Henry before the completion of the Alll Blacks End of Year Tour.

Henry said: “It would be great if Carl came home because he’s world-class, probably the best tight-head prop in the world.”

Thirty-year-old Hayman played 45 tests for the All Blacks between 2001 and 2007, his last being New Zealand’s quarter-final loss the France in the last Rugby World Cup.
