Students can abuse a lot of that money within that 6 years. What difference does it make? I know a lot of people who have applied and got into university just for the sake of abusing the student loan system.

They have obviously not put much thought into the six year limit on interest free loans because my course is six years long. Whereas most undergraduates would have started earning within 6 years, i would have just graduated. They seriously need to revise this depending on the course you are going. This on top of raising fees for med students is obviously gonna have us thinking of leaving for aussie where we get paid more. A good move if the government wants to put pressure on our already understaffed health care system.
