Christchurch's QEII stadium had the only 50 metre swimming pool in the city

The Christchurch earthquakes have left the city's sporting infrastructure in tatters.

Particularly, the loss of QEII stadium and with it the only 50 metre swimming pool.

Now a Christchurch businessman has a plan to help the city's elite swimmers.

These pools can be erected and dismantled in a matter of hours and are used for swim meets all over the world.
