I'm reading this article in China. I watched Obama's speech both on Chinese TV, and on CNN. It wasn't censored on either channel. My opinion is that freedom of speech also allows for newspapers to decide which parts of a speech they will emphasize. Chinese people tend to be concerned about different issues than are covered in the Western press.
