Chris Cornell has a storied history as a musician.

Soundgarden, Audioslave, Temple of the Dog and Scream are just some of the projects he's been involved in, not to mention his successful solo career.

David Farrier caught up with him recently and the two chatted for half an hour about his music.

Cornell revealed his long-standing love of experimentation, and some clues about the direction the newly-reformed Soundgarden is taking.
