The company building the house has Contract Works Insuance, so the house will be insured whilst under construction. How is one to get an insurance company to go on risk for a house which is not yet constructed and has no practical completion. Can anyone help?

Mobile home idea was simply rediculous - charging nearly 300$ p/w and people had to falk out for power and insurance onto of it. These are a little better - only if they are temporary! still waiting for eqc to inspect my house - lots of minor internal external damage and i have been marked green !

I believe the supervisor/s in unusual circumstances such as a death could have easily supplied a direct email address that enabled me to directly forward the authority to the supervisor so it could be loaded immediately which would allow me to DISCUSS THE DAMAGE AS PER THE CLAIMS lodged which we know will be in excess of $100,000 as it has similar damage as the adjoining unit which has already been assessed. My daughter, whom was working for EQC suggested I write to you as she advised me unless things were made public EQC simply left people in limbo. June Russell 03 465 1986
