A group of young students from Cashmere Primary School share their thoughts on a post-quake Christchurch

Residents young and old are gathering in Christchurch today to mark the anniversary of the tragic February 22 quake.

But one year on there is still so much to be done.

The central city is still cordoned off with the area barely recognizable.

There are around 600 buildings now down around the city, but there are still over 600 to go.

In many ways Christchurch is still a blank slate.

A group of young students from Cashmere Primary School spoke to Firstline this morning with their thoughts on how the new Christchurch could look.
