Home owners in Christchurch's red-zoned suburbs are starting to get a clearer picture of how much money they will get for their properties.
The problem is - for many it doesn't appear to be enough.
While the government has weighed in on one side of the scale - offering to pay the 2007 rateable value - has it simply caused an imbalance on the other side of the equation?
Homes in the green zone are selling well over value, and there are simply nowhere near enough affordable sections available.
So tonight Campbell Live begin a new series about hard working people who have all their equity in their homes, and nowhere to go from here.
