Not long now and what a mad rush it will be again this year to stock up on your pet's food, check that their vaccinations are all up to date ready for the kennels / cattery for their holidays as well as deciding what fantastic gift to buy our beloved pets this year and spoil them over the festive season.

Saxon and Sizzle are busy packing for their holiday away at their favourite kennel as well as having fun playing with all the Christmas decorations by trying to help us put them on the tree or in their case running away with them all and seeing which ones they can hide.

When Father Christmas delivers all the presents on Christmas Eve please leave him a note to ask him to put any presents containing chocolate into a special Christmas cupboard to prevent your dog from unwrapping and eating them.

Chocolate is very toxic to dogs and can poison them so do remember to put it out of their reach as the best dog in the world is likely to unwrap that particular present and tuck in; the last thing anyone wants is an emergency visit to the vet on Christmas Day.

The Christmas tree is a new toy for cats in the household to explore it is an amazing thing for them to try and climb, be aware all the glitzy decorations are inviting to our cats to try and catch them, play with them and also potentially eat them, they can be very hard for a cat to resist with all the noises the decorations make and all the sparkles - they really do entice our cats to play, play, play!

Remember to have a safe Christmas with loads of fun, food and festive cheer.
