The circus will soon be back in town with the arrival of Cirque du Soleil's Saltimbanco in Auckland.

It is just one of 22 Cirque du Soleil shows touring the world this year but holds the impressive title of longest running production.

3 News Australia correspondent Samantha Hayes caught up with the cast and crew before they left Sydney.
