Few films can be credited with re-defining an entire genre but Point Blank not only changed what it meant to make "film noir", it influenced an entire generation of filmmakers.

Though ostensibly a pretty simple vengeance tale, the film famously brought the ground-breaking narrative style of European art films into the American mainstream.
