James@ if 700 thousand of us cant go out what do u think everyone will do! <--- really . Are you for real . So your saying if they ban alcohol the social scene of New Zealand will be over . Because the only reason 700 thousand people go out each weekend is to get violently drunk ? Or the only way people can have fun in New Zealand is under the influence of alcohol ? what a d!ck

alcohol vs weed wrote:
Legalize weed! I concider myself as a pretty heavy drinker, i hit town each weekend n go out to have fun with mates and dance in clubs and stuff, some times never remember how i got home. I rarely get angry when drinking or get into fights but i can see how easy it is for people to go from happy to a full anger buzz and want to start scraps, just over little things that you would usually let get to you. I try to avoid weed basicially only because its illegal, but i have had it on many occasions. And whilst being under the influence of weed all i feel is like chillin out with mates and trippin and having a laugh, i find it hard to get into a angry state of mind, i just always seem to be happy and find most normal things really funny. That is not something i do everytime i am drunk. I mean, when i drink i still have alot of fun and stuff but there has been many situations that have had the potential to get out of control/ violent, luckily i can control myself. Yea so i think they should concider legalising weed, i think it is alot safer.
