ROAD TO FORGIVENESS
Andrea Kruger stunned the judge and courtroom when she hugged, kissed and forgave the drunk driver who killed her husband. She hoped her forgiveness would help Phillip Hamilton turn his life around. Yet as she struggles with grief and financial hardship, Hamilton is receiving a benefit while serving out his sentence in his parents’ apartment. 60 Minutes reporter Amanda Millar investigates.

HUMAN KIND
The remains of a nine-year-old boy have been discovered in South Africa. He is almost two million years old and belongs to a previously unidentified species, somewhere between apes and us. The discovery is so important, anthropologists will be studying him for decades. 60 Minutes correspondent Bob Simon investigates.

UNDER THE VOLCANO
Just a few weeks ago, if we had been asked to name the biggest threat to the world’s airline industry, we would have said terrorism. And we would have been way off base. The correct answer of course is Eyjafjallajokull. Iceland's volcanic eruption emptied the skies and crippled the international airline industry. 60 Minutes reporter Liz Hayes travels to Iceland and finds out that Eyjafjallajokull isn’t the only volcano we need to worry about.
