Too many people think all kangaroos are pests and should be shot when this is not true in so many situations. When shooters go out in the night terrorising mobs have they put in any research into the heirachy of the mob, which ones are dominant, which ones are breeders, which ones have dependant young! most likely not.Sure eating animals is part of our food chain but the way humans have done and continue to kill animals for their own enjoyment is usually sickening.In some areas kangaroos numbers are decreasing which is sad and we surely have a responsibility to protect and ensure a species is protected and to make sure individuals are treated humanely.Take care of our unique fauna and let small brained red necks find other means of a living!
@ Patricia Holborow – You can’t ‘farm’ Kangaroo’s, do some research into the subject before you make such ridiculous comments.If you’re so worried about ‘desertification’ take a second to think about the thousands of redneck shooters driving around the bush every night shooting any Kangaroos they can find, what makes you think their 4wheel drives aren’t doing any damage?Next time you tuck into Australia’s National Emblem think about the Joey who no doubt had its head smashed into the ground for your meal.If you really give a damn about the environment go Vegetarian.
