Compulsive hoarder crushed by his own collection

3News NZ

A Welsh man who was a compulsive hoarder of everything has been killed when some of the rubbish he had amassed in his house fell on top of him.

John Jones' house in Aberystwyth was so full that he built a network of tunnels so he could move around in it.

The inquest into his death was told four tonnes of rubbish had to be removed from the 62-year-old's bedroom, before police could carry his body out through a window.

The help was there, regular like clockwork, once every week, for the past 30-40 years. I think in Wales it's called rubbish collection & recycling.
