Police are concerned for a missing 57-year-old dementia suffering man missing in Christchurch

Police are concerned for the safety of a 57-year-old dementia sufferer from Christchurch who has disappeared without his medication.

Wayne Murray Clarke was last seen at 1.30pm on Saturday at the Pacific Haven Residential Care Home in New Brighton.

Mr Clarke has been known to travel to the west coast.

He is described as a thin Caucasian, about 1.8m tall with grey hair and beard. He has several tattoos on his arms and hands.

Police want to hear from anyone with information.
