The statistics is truely amongst the young ones ages 18-25 even as young as 9
The Right Track Programme is there to teach our young ones about choosing the choice when driving.
Its not the car that causes the accident, Most of us blame PEER PRESSURE others blame it on SPEED and ALCOHOL which is not the case at all, its the Driver who holds the RESPONSIBILTY of that VEHICLE and its PASSENGERS. There will be a huge RIPLE EFFECT for those who dont consider the safety of others and the huge IMPACT it will have on the FAMILY, FRIENDS and so on....
HONESTLY! Who is dumb enough to get into a car with a person who is speeding or toxicated with alcohol?
We want to see our young ones alive and well, living life to thier fullest not just another statistic on someone powerpoint or bilboard so,
I say KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK that our Emergency Services are doing to crack down on Boy Racers.

interesting. i see that there is a huge lack of understanding of all these issues. its really just a 2 sided debate, and both sides are in the wrong. the worst by FAR are the people my age claiming they never acted like that as a kid. what an absolute load of rubbish. The activity has not changed. burnouts, racing, drinking, acting like tossers. its all still there, just as it ALWAYS HAS BEEN. the Location, and the types of cars, that has changed. add in the fact that everyone has a camera now, and that it is now considered "news" that late teens and early 20s dont much like the police and laws and being told what to do, and just like that its 'completely different'..by far the biggest thing that has changed is that it now has a title attached to it. BOY RACERS. in my day, it was just hoons, or, more accurately, 'boys being boys'. dont for a second claim that people did not die in your teenage years from road accidents. the reason the youth road toll grew so much was the amount of youths driving increased greatly, thanks to VERY cheap japanese imports.putting a strip into a private bit of land was looked into in hamilton, but was shot down instantly, as to work, it would need to be registered, tested, checked that it was up to standard, and every time anyone wanted to use it they would need fire equipment and ST Johns ambo on site the entire time, along with checking the warents and rego of all vehicles. private land has nothing to do with it, it is still against the law. in a paddock, in your garage, anywhere. its illegal. check the website for info if you dont believe me. also, before acting as though they are the ones causing all the accidents, check the statisitcs for the average age of a speed ticket recipient. you might be surprised to find it falls into the 35+ bracket. not the 18-25 bracket.

So they should be kept in check otherwise why have road rules none of them have any regard for other road users and speeding and burnouts should be done in a controlled area not some main road where people can get hurt, wake up you brainless dickheads you dont own the roads if you dont want your license fine just remember why you got it, Freedom, independants from parents drive yourself, and what are you doing now putting that freedom at risk, WAKE UP

while I respect those saying it was a few bad apples of the group making trouble etc, it doesn't stop the fact that the police denied the permit to hold the cruise and people showed up anyway!
