Cosplay comes alive at Armageddon Expo

Fifty thousand fans visited this weekend's Armageddon pulp culture expo in Auckland, the biggest attendance since the event began 16 years ago.
One of the main attractions this year was the cosplayers, which is short for costume play, and is where the line between reality and fantasy disappears.
The annual fantasy event gives fans of pop culture the chance to dress up as their favourite animation, videogame or comic book character.
