I used to have a dog who looked exactly like Tango and he is clearly not a pitbull. If these people choose to spend that amount to save their dog then thats their business. To me my dogs are part of the family and love them to bits.

what a load of rubbish! you are caught in a ridiculous loop. Tango appears mellow as and has character references to boot!! ignore the heartless comments from some cowardly individuals, if anyone tried to take my dogs from me i would do everything in my power to save them! to say simply looking a certain way is enough to deserve punishment by death is disgusting and ignorant. keep fighting for Tango, for all the other staffs, amstaffs, lookalikes and owners who love them!

Hey Aucklander,
I dont think this couple want publicity I think they really love their dog and only want him to come home to them where he belongs.
What do you find hard to understand about that!!! Good luck and all the best to them and their cute dog.

I think this couple just want to be publicity and get famous so they can earn extra money via media. Bad investment! I rather spent this kind of money to help my closed relative or people who in need.

Here in NZ there is a DNA test you can have done to prove which breed your dog is, and if i remember correctly it is an Australian company that does it. This dog is clearly an American Staffy and looks nothing like a pitbull! I am a breeder of Amstaffs so know one when i see one. I feel for this dog and his owners and hope its not too much longer before they get him home

i have an american staff they are wonderful around kids and are very kind to other animals.the judge has it wrong there are clear differences between the pit bull and the amstaff ,there is plenty of evidence to back this as any amstaff owner or pit bull owner will tell you,you tube has the best examples and any dog breeder will set this argument streight

Serious waste of money for an animal that will only live about twelve years anyways. But seriously, the whole thing is messed up. The dog is clearly not a menacing breed.
