Where are the morals anymore? There are no standards either. At least Bob is standing up for families. I would not like my daughter to come across a nude cyclist, or a group of nude cyclists either! I think the interview is rude and has bad interviewing skills to talk right over the person he is interviewing!! We are deeply offended by the ruling of this judge!
Bob - you dont seem to understand the law. The cyclist had no intention to offend, and the Judge rightfully recognised that. Do you have a problem with the human body? As our summer's get warmer - you're likely to see more of them. And most (but yes, not all) just want to keep cooler. The point where we differ from other species is that we have the intelligence to tell the difference(mostly). As far as morals are concerned - collectively the people of this country keep voting for governments that put money before people. So, yes - I do feel as I must look out for just myself as this is how society expects me to behave nowadays. It was not always like this.
Don't the Police have better things to do than pandering to some unrepresentative overly loud fundamentalist pressure group? Yes, dealing with *violent crime*, which is far more harmful. Bob McCoskrie is the new Patricia Bartlett...
I agree Bob. The judge has snapped the moral yard stick in half. Since when did riding nude in public become ok and flashing remain a lewd act. What is the difference? He obviously wanted to "be seen" or he would have been happy to do this is own home!!! Now where do we draw the line next time?
Good job Bob, under the usual confrontational interviewing style of our media
Well done Bob. Thanks for standing up for the views of the majority of NZdrs. It's amazing how Oliver Driver can try and make you out to be the bad guy just because you stand up for what is right. Once again, an example of bias in the media.
If it was a 15 yr old girl riding nude would that be OK? Even on a country lane? Are males OK and females not? Are 50 yr olds OK but 18 yr olds not OK? When does a country lane become a quiet street and then a busy street. Too many of our judges are failed lawyers who couldnt make the firm's chargeable hours. A bad decision. Good on McCroskey.
Yep, I'm with Bob. We need a court bench that has not been so affected by the lawless side of the community that they forget common sense & reasonable morals. The interviewer seems to have lost any moral compass too - if everyone does what ever they want to, someone might decide it is okay to run the guy off his bike - not good. Every society needs some values to keep the place together, otherwise the strange and bizarre rule. And retire the judge quick, before any other weird decisions are made. You go Bob - stand up for normal people!
Well done Bob. I think you did great when you were the one under attack for being willing to stand up for what you and many others believe . It seems that when it comes to freedom of speech, this only applies to liberal views. There are some moral standards that should never change regardless of time and culture, this is one of them. When these standards are eroded we see in history the huge consequences in such cases as the Roman Empire and its consequent fall. Thank you Bob for speaking out for us and our families.
Family First once again prove that they are stuck in the 18th century.
