Russell Crowe's new Robin Hood movie has suffered a two further safety scares with an actor and studio aide both injured in separate incidents.

Last month the US$176 million Ridley Scott epic was brought to a halt after an unnamed actor was hurt during the filming of a battle scene in Wales.

British tabloid the Sunday Mirror reports that the production has since been blighted with two further accidents on set.

An unnamed actor has reportedly broken his ankles after missing a crash mat in a high-wire fall at Pinewood studios in Buckinghamshire, England.

In a separate incident a studio worker has suffered neck injuries from falling into a pit at Shepperton Studios in Surrey, England.

The film, which also stars Cate Blanchett as Maid Marion, is due for release next year.
