Resurrected TV drama Dallas is to return for a second series after the show's comeback proved a ratings hit.
The programme, which has been absent from the small screen for 21 years, returned on US network TNT last month and is to air in the UK in September.
After almost seven million viewers tuned in to watch the relaunched drama series, TV bosses have commissioned a second run of the show.
Veteran cast member Larry Hagman, whose character J.R. Ewing was famously gunned down in a 1980s cliffhanger, tells Britain's Daily Express, "I hope I don't get shot again. If I hold out for more money this time they might kill me off."
