Australian pop star Dannii Minogue is returning to British TV in a new judging role after signing up as a panellist on Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model.

Minogue, who was a judge on the UK version of The X Factor from 2007 to 2010, will replace The Hills star Whitney Port.

She will sit alongside Australian supermodel Elle MacPherson and US male model Tyson Beckford on the new-look panel next year.

Minogue says, "I am brushing up on my model moves and with my highest platform heels on, I am excited to come face to face with (well, maybe look up to) the glamazons of Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model 2013."

Designer Julien Macdonald has also left the show after two years.
